Dr. Chidiac is a diplomate of the American Board of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine. After receiving his medical degree from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Mount Carmel Medical Center and his fellowship in hematology/medical oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is an adjunct assistant professor at The Ohio State University and is a teaching faculty member at the Mount Carmel West Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Chidiac served as director of medical oncology for Mount Carmel West from 2000 to 2007. Dr. Chidiac treats all cancer and blood disorders and has a special interest in melanoma, lung, breast and gastrointestinal malignancies. He is a principal investigator of multiple phase II/III trials, author of many peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and an investigator and active member of NCI Community Oncology Research Program for SWOG, ECOG, NSABP, RTOG, MDACC, URCC and GOG. Dr. Chidiac is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Community Oncology Alliance and Ohio State Medical Association.
